A Day in the Life:

As part of our patent litigation group, you will join a talented team of patent attorneys with scientific, technical, and engineering backgrounds. Your days will be spent working closely with team attorneys and staff members representing clients in diverse fields. We Know You:
<p>
You have <b>7-15 years of experience in all aspects of patent litigation</b>, experience taking primary responsibility over various aspects of a patent infringement case, including general discovery practice and first chair deposition experience. Trial experience desired but not required. <b>You possess a scientific or technical background</b> such as a mechanical, electrical, chemical, computer science degree, or engineering degree, or relevant practical experience. <b>Ideally, you are admitted to and in good standing in Texas</b>, but this is also open to candidates admitted to a state Bar where Nelson Mullins has an office. Being admitted to the USPTO is a plus but not required.</p>

The ideal candidate has strong litigation experience and feels confident defending product liability lawsuits. You are well-versed in taking and defending depositions and have prior experience in drafting dispositive, expert, and/or discovery motions. You pride yourself on your written and oral advocacy skills and are<b> admitted to the California Bar (required)</b>.</div><div></div><div><br>
At Nelson Mullins, we are dedicated to transparent and fair compensation practices. Pay for this position is determined by factors such as experience, skills, and location.
