We are seeking an experienced HVAC Designer / Mechanical Engineer with strong knowledge of Qatar and GCC standards, including coordination and approvals with local authorities.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform HVAC cooling load calculations (HAP / TRACE / Carrier E20)</li><li>Design chilled water, VRF, ventilation, and exhaust systems</li><li>Develop stair pressurization and smoke extraction systems compliant with QCDD</li><li>Prepare detailed drawings and coordinated BIM models (AutoCAD &amp; Revit MEP)</li><li>Ensure compliance with:</li><li>Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS)</li><li>Ashghal requirements (where applicable)</li><li>Qatar Civil Defence (QCDD)</li><li>Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) regulations</li><li>ASHRAE standards</li><li>Prepare equipment schedules, BOQs, and technical specifications</li><li>Handle authority submissions, comments, and approvals</li><li>Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during execution</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Mechanical Engineering</li><li>5+ years of HVAC design experience (Qatar / GCC experience mandatory)</li><li>Strong understanding of:</li><li>MME approval processes</li><li>Qatar &amp; GCC mechanical codes</li><li>District cooling and high-rise building systems</li><li>Energy-efficient HVAC design</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and load calculation software</li><li>Experience in authority coordination &amp; documentation</li><li>UPDA/MMUP grade (preferred)</li></ul>Preferred Experience<ul><li>Commercial towers, mixed-use developments, hospitality, healthcare, or infrastructure projects</li><li>Familiarity with GSAS or other GCC sustainability frameworks</li><li>Strong coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time
