An engineering business is seeking a Commercial Gas Engineer to join the team in the BedfordArea, and will also cover surrounding areas including parts of Cambridgeshire & Hertfordshire.Your Role:While in this position your duties may include but will not be limited to:<ul> <li>Attending clients' sites to perform preventative maintenance, warranty work and action breakdowns on installed equipment from the business</li><li>Diagnosing system problems whilst servicing products and equipment</li><li>Maintaining communications with customers, building strong relationships with them and acting as a trusted point of contact, and ensuring work completed meets their approval</li><li>Ensuring that internal teams such as service desk, sales and operations teams are communicated with to share insights</li><li>Utilising cutting edge technology and software, along with high quality tools to diagnose and conduct work, as well as following both engineering specifications and blueprints</li><li>Producing reporting for invoiced and completed work orders</li><li>Building strong working relationships with key internal co-workers including regional service managers, other technicians and supervisors to relay updates</li></ul> You MUST Have:Please apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:<ul> <li>Excellent experience within a service or field-based technician role</li><li>Strong working knowledge in manufacturing, as well as in packaged rooftops</li><li>Background in light commercial</li><li>Good customer service and communication skills</li><li>Proficiency in relevant systems, as well as apps, diagnostic software and other IT skills such as MS Office</li><li>F-Gas C&G 2079 Level 2 certification</li><li>MUST hold COCN1, CIGA1 & ICPN1</li><li>UK driver's license and previous exposure to handling mutliple call outs during a single shift</li><li>Able to undertake standbys and call outs including weekends and bank holidays</li></ul> Your Opportunity:This exciting opportunity is perfect for a motivated technician looking to progress their career forwards and to gain valuable knowledge and experience of the manufacturing industry from within a leading and highly successful business.
