Save your and our time. Thank You. The IT Systems Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving network problems, and assisting with the installation and maintenance of IT systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.<ul><li>Provide first-line support to end-users experiencing technical issues with hardware, software, and networking.</li><li>Diagnose and resolve technical issues remotely.</li><li>Document and track issues in the ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution.</li><li>Assist in the deployment of new software and hardware, including setting up new user accounts and equipment.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance and updates on all IT systems.</li><li>Monitor and maintain network systems, including troubleshooting connectivity issues.</li><li>Assist with the setup and configuration of network devices (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).</li><li>Collaborate with network administrators to ensure optimal network performance.</li><li>Provide training and support to end-users on various IT systems and software.</li><li>Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes, procedures, and user guides.</li><li>Stay updated with the latest IT developments and provide recommendations for technology improvements.</li><li>Work closely with other IT team members to resolve complex issues</li><li>Escalate complex issues to Level 2/3 support teams while documenting all incidents and resolutions in the IT service management tool.</li></ul>Desired Profile<ul><li>Education: Masters degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.</li><li>&#8288;Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or equivalent are preferred.</li><li>Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in an aggressive IT Infrastructure environment with challenges to dela on every day basis</li></ul>Technical Skills:<ul><li>Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems.</li><li>Assist with user account management, password resets, and access permissions in systems like Microsoft Office 365, email servers, and custom environmental tracking software.</li><li>&#8288;Install, configure, and maintain standard software applications, ensuring compliance with security protocols relevant to UAE regulations (e.g., DESC, NESA).</li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other common business software.</li><li>Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).</li><li>Manage and support virtualized environments, including VMware, Hyper-V, or similar technologies.</li><li>Assist in maintenance of virtual machines and virtual networks.</li><li>Troubleshoot issues related to virtualization and ensure optimal performance of virtualized resources.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, virus scans, and hardware inventory checks.</li><li>Familiarization with the use of backup softwares like Commvault, VeeAm</li><li>Must have worked in Visio or AutoCAD</li><li>Knowledge of ITSM processes and tools (JIRA, ServiceDesk, ServiceNow, HaloITSM etc)</li></ul>Soft Skills:<ul><li>People person</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Customer-focused with a service-oriented attitude.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Must have Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science</li><li>Have working knowledge of MS Visio or Lucid Charts or AutoCAD</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Master's (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>System Support Engineer: 3 years (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>UAE Driving License (Preferred)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Dubai (Preferred)</li></ul>
