New Care Behavioral Health is a private counseling practice located in Wellington, Ohio. We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated person to join our front office team on a full-time basis as an Administrative Assistant. Come grow with us!Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain confidentiality</li><li>Completes tasks accurately and timely</li><li>Performs receptionist duties to support practice operations, including but not limited to faxing, copying, scanning, and project support</li><li>Client and guest interfacing and customer service, including answering and relaying phone calls and messages, answering and relaying emails and client portal messages, checking in/out clients, scheduling and canceling appointments, collection of client payments, making payment arrangements</li><li>Registers clients and maintains client demographic information and insurance information</li><li>Ensures completion of all client intake paperwork and addition to client record</li><li>Maintains front office tracking systems</li><li>Helps to improve efficiency and data tracking</li><li>Takes initiative in client outreach for obtaining client information and providing appropriate reminders</li><li>Learns and conveys policies and procedures, implementing as necessary/appropriate</li><li>Obtains insurance benefit information, assists in claim recovery, may assist in billing</li><li>Organizing supplies and maintaining inventory and supply needs</li><li>Handling incoming and outgoing office mail</li><li>Accepting deliveries</li><li>Office upkeep and making sure common space is clean and clutter free</li><li>Some evenings and weekends required</li></ul>Skills and Experience<ul><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>2 years of experience in a front-desk setting</li><li>Possess prior knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations is preferred</li><li>Strong computer skills</li><li>Previous experience with EMR/EHR</li><li>Ability to work independently and as a team member</li><li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal</li><li>Ability to multi-task</li><li>Desire and ability to learn</li><li>Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States</li></ul>New Care Behavioral Health is an equal opportunity employer.Job Type: Full-timePay: $16.00 per hourWork Location: In person
