Job SummaryWe are looking for a Purchase Engineer to join our procurement team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end sourcing process, from identifying reliable suppliers to ensuring materials reach our facility on time. The ideal candidate will have a technical background (Diploma/B.E.) and a knack for cost negotiation and inventory management.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Sourcing &amp; Vendor Development: Research suppliers; evaluate them based on quality, reliability, and price.</li><li>Cost Analysis: Cost comparisons of quotes from multiple vendors to ensure the best value without compromising quality.</li><li>Purchase Management: Create and release formal Purchase Orders (POs).</li><li>Follow-up: Track purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials.</li><li>Inventory Control: Maintain stock levels, monitor consumption.</li><li>Documentation: Maintain records of goods ordered and received; coordinate with the accounts department for payment processing.</li></ul>Requirements &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Education: Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering fields.</li><li>Experience: 1 to 3 years in procurement, purchase, or supply chain roles.</li><li>Technical Skills: MS Excel , Basic experience with any ERP software.</li><li>Soft Skills: Strong negotiation skills, Good communication Skill (Tamil, English &amp; Kannada + )</li><li>Driving License : Must</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, FresherPay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
