Purchase Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchase Engineer to join our procurement team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end sourcing process, from identifying reliable suppliers to ensuring materials reach our facility on time. The ideal candidate will have a technical background (Diploma/B.E.) and a knack for cost negotiation and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Vendor Development: Research suppliers; evaluate them based on quality, reliability, and price.
• Cost Analysis: Cost comparisons of quotes from multiple vendors to ensure the best value without compromising quality.
• Purchase Management: Create and release formal Purchase Orders (POs).
• Follow-up: Track purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
• Inventory Control: Maintain stock levels, monitor consumption.
• Documentation: Maintain records of goods ordered and received; coordinate with the accounts department for payment processing.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering fields.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years in procurement, purchase, or supply chain roles.
• Technical Skills: MS Excel , Basic experience with any ERP software.
• Soft Skills: Strong negotiation skills, Good communication Skill (Tamil, English & Kannada + )
• Driving License : Must

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
