Job Role:1. Procurement &amp; Sourcing<ul><li>Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers for electrical components, machinery, tools, and equipment.</li><li>Obtain quotations, negotiate the best pricing, terms, credit facilities, and delivery schedules.</li><li>Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships for long-term procurement stability.</li></ul>2. Purchase Planning &amp; Inventory Control<ul><li>Coordinate with the operations, maintenance, and project departments to understand material requirements.</li><li>Prepare purchase plans, maintain minimum stock levels, and avoid stockouts.</li><li>Monitor inventory movement, verify GRN (Goods Receipt Notes), and ensure timely restocking.</li></ul>3. Technical Knowledge &amp; Specifications<ul><li>Understand technical specifications of electrical items such as cables, panels, motors, switches, breakers, tools, and industrial components.</li><li>Ensure purchased items strictly match required quality and technical standards.</li><li>Coordinate with technical experts for sample approvals and quality checks.</li></ul>4. Vendor Management &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Maintain vendor lists, purchase orders, agreements, and payment terms.</li><li>Conduct vendor performance evaluation based on quality, delivery, and pricing.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and statutory requirements.</li></ul>5. Cost Control &amp; Negotiation<ul><li>Analyze market trends and negotiate optimum rates.</li><li>Identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring quality.</li><li>Prepare comparative statements and final purchase recommendations.</li></ul>6. Coordination &amp; Follow-up<ul><li>Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.</li><li>Resolve issues related to delays, shortages, rejections, or damages.</li><li>Coordinate with logistics for transportation and delivery tracking.</li></ul>7. Record Keeping &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Maintain accurate purchase-related records.</li><li>Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly purchase reports.</li><li>Support internal audits and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.</li></ul>8.
