Electrical Purchase Manager

Job Role:

1. Procurement & Sourcing

• Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers for electrical components, machinery, tools, and equipment.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate the best pricing, terms, credit facilities, and delivery schedules.
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships for long-term procurement stability.

2. Purchase Planning & Inventory Control

• Coordinate with the operations, maintenance, and project departments to understand material requirements.
• Prepare purchase plans, maintain minimum stock levels, and avoid stockouts.
• Monitor inventory movement, verify GRN (Goods Receipt Notes), and ensure timely restocking.

3. Technical Knowledge & Specifications

• Understand technical specifications of electrical items such as cables, panels, motors, switches, breakers, tools, and industrial components.
• Ensure purchased items strictly match required quality and technical standards.
• Coordinate with technical experts for sample approvals and quality checks.

4. Vendor Management & Documentation

• Maintain vendor lists, purchase orders, agreements, and payment terms.
• Conduct vendor performance evaluation based on quality, delivery, and pricing.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and statutory requirements.

5. Cost Control & Negotiation

• Analyze market trends and negotiate optimum rates.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring quality.
• Prepare comparative statements and final purchase recommendations.

6. Coordination & Follow-up

• Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
• Resolve issues related to delays, shortages, rejections, or damages.
• Coordinate with logistics for transportation and delivery tracking.

7. Record Keeping & Reporting

• Maintain accurate purchase-related records.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly purchase reports.
• Support internal audits and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.

8. Compliance & Safety Standards

• Ensure all electrical equipment meets required safety certifications.
• Follow company procurement processes, ethical standards, and compliance norms.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
