This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children&rsquo;s lives while gaining valuable experience in preschool and toddler care.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist lead teachers in implementing engaging lesson plans that promote childhood development and early learning skills</li><li>Support children with daily activities, including play, arts and crafts, storytime, and educational exercises</li><li>Ensure the safety and well-being of children by maintaining a vigilant presence and adhering to safety protocols</li><li>Help manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques</li><li>Provide attentive infant and toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed</li><li>Support classroom organization by preparing materials, cleaning up after activities, and maintaining a tidy environment</li><li>Collaborate with team members to monitor developmental milestones and communicate observations to lead teachers</li><li>Assist with special education needs or children with disabilities by implementing individualized support strategies</li><li>Follow all health and safety guidelines, including first aid procedures when necessary</li><li>Engage with parents or guardians during pick-up times to share updates on their child's day and progress</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly valued</li><li>Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices</li><li>Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is a plus</li><li>Certification in first aid is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not already held</li><li>Strong classroom management skills and the ability to handle behavioral challenges effectively</li><li>Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills and patience</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment dedicated to nurturing young learners</li><li>Physical ability to assist with infant care tasks such as feeding, diapering, and lifting children as needed</li></ul>Join us in creating a joyful learning space where every child feels valued and supported!
