Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC Service Technician/Plumber to join our Family team and deliver exceptional service in heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and plumbing systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, troubleshoot complex mechanical systems, and provide top-tier maintenance and repair services. All positions are paid, reflecting our commitment to valuing your expertise and dedication.Responsibilities<ul><li>Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ammonia refrigeration systems.</li><li>Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance for residential, commercial, or industrial properties.</li><li>Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately execute projects.</li><li>Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot equipment issues, perform routine maintenance, and ensure optimal system performance.</li><li>Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to diagnose electrical problems and repair mechanical components.</li><li>Maintain property systems by inspecting appliances, HVAC units, refrigeration lines, and plumbing fixtures regularly.</li><li>Document all service activities thoroughly through reports and logs to ensure clear communication and accountability.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Extensive construction experience with a focus on HVAC installation and plumbing work.</li><li>Proven service technician experience with a strong understanding of HVAC/R systems.</li><li>Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design documents accurately.</li><li>Mechanical knowledge spanning boilers, refrigeration systems (including ammonia refrigeration), air conditioning units, and appliances.</li><li>Field service expertise with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues using tools like ohmmeters.</li><li>Skilled in equipment repair including welding, maintenance procedures, and property upkeep.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record; experience operating &lt;PERSON&gt; drivers preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of property maintenance practices related to HVAC/R systems and plumbing infrastructure.</li><li>Familiarity with mechanical systems such as boilers or other large-scale heating equipment is advantageous.
