NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a <b>Part-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant</b> to join our team in <b>Aurora, Colorado</b>.</p>

The work is engaging and varied, with a broad patient population and generally <b>low-acuity presentations that keep skills sharp without the pressure of inpatient follow-up</b>.</p>
<h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Key Responsibilities</b></h2>
<p>
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting</p>
<p>
Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits</p>
<p>
Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging</p>
<p>
Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management</p>
<p>
Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions</p>
<p>
Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR</p>
<p>
Code and bill services appropriately</p>
<p>
Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks</p>
<p>
Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values</p>
<h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Required Qualifications</b></h2>

Active, unrestricted <b>Colorado NP or PA license</b></p>
<p>
Board certification required</p>
<p><b>
PA:</b> NCCPA certification</p>
<p><b>
NP:</b> ANCC or AANP certification (Family Nurse Practitioner required)</p>
<p>
Active <b>DEA license</b> or ability to obtain</p>
<p>
Ability to treat <b>patients of all ages</b></p>
<p>
Active <b>BLS certification</b></p>
<p>
EHR proficiency</p>
<p>
Willingness to work occasional <b>weekends and holidays</b></p>
<p><b>
DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered)</b></p>

Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experience</p>

Strong procedural skills (suturing, splinting, wound care)</p>
