Toddler 1 TeacherLocation: Bright Star Kids Academy &ndash; Buford Job Type: Full-Time / Part-TimeAbout UsAt Bright Star Kids Academy &ndash; Buford, we believe every child is a bright star with unlimited potential. Our Toddler Teachers are key in guiding curious young learners as they begin to explore independence, social skills, and early learning experiences.Responsibilities<ul><li>Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for toddlers (typically 12&ndash;24 months).</li><li>Develop and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities that encourage social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.</li><li>Support toddlers as they begin learning self-help skills such as feeding, toileting, and simple routines.</li><li>Establish strong, positive relationships with families through daily communication and progress updates.</li><li>Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of each child by following state licensing regulations and Bright Star Kids Academy policies.</li><li>Observe, document, and assess children&rsquo;s developmental milestones.</li><li>Collaborate with co-teachers and staff to maintain a supportive and professional team environment.</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom.</li></ul>Qualifications (Education Required)<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED required.</li><li>CDA, Associate&rsquo;s, or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Early Childhood Education strongly preferred.</li><li>Prior experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting.</li><li>Knowledge of toddler development and age-appropriate practices.</li><li>CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).</li><li>Strong communication, patience, and nurturing skills.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Pay is based on education, credentials, and experience.</li><li>Paid training and professional development opportunities.</li><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance options (if applicable).</li><li>Paid time off and holidays.</li><li>Employee childcare discount at Bright Star Kids Academy.</li></ul>Why Join Us?When you join Bright Star Kids Academy &ndash; Buford, you become part of a supportive community that values educators as much as the children we care for.
