Role: Product &amp; Customer Experience Assistant (Rare Plant Shop) Location: Lake Worth, Florida &ndash; On-site Type: Full-time, Mon&ndash;Fri 12pm&ndash;8pm Pay: $18&ndash;$21 per hour, Bonuses based on sales targetsMissionKeep our rare plant customers thrilled and our online platforms polished. You&rsquo;ll manage day-to-day communication, product uploads, and backend organization so the founder can focus on growth and sourcing incredible plants.What Success Looks Like (Outcomes)Within 90 days, you are:<ul><li>Uploading and updating new products daily with accurate photos, titles, pricing, and inventory.</li><li>Maintaining a beautiful, easy-to-navigate website that stays current and drives sales.</li><li>Responding to all customer messages within 3 hours with friendly, helpful answers.</li><li>Increasing repeat orders and positive reviews from existing customers.</li><li>Keeping our sales platform listings clean, accurate, and up to date.</li><li>Take photos and video for the founders to create on-brand social content with.</li><li>Improving simple systems (folders, templates, checklists) for faster, smoother operations.</li></ul>Key ResponsibilitiesProduct &amp; Website Management<ul><li>Upload new products (photos, titles, descriptions, pricing, inventory) to the website and sales platforms.</li><li>Audit listings regularly to ensure accuracy and remove or update sold-out items.</li><li>Keep collections, categories, and featured products current and visually appealing.</li><li>Coordinate with the founder on pricing, promotions, and featured listings.</li></ul>Customer Communication &amp; Retention<ul><li>Answer DMs, emails, and comments quickly and thoughtfully.</li><li>Help customers choose plants, care for them, and resolve issues.</li><li>Follow up with past buyers for reviews, referrals, and repeat sales.</li><li>Track common customer questions and suggest FAQ or help resources.</li></ul>Social Media &amp; Content<ul><li>Take on-brand social photos and video for the founders to create content with.</li><li>Engage with our collector community warmly and consistently.</li></ul>Admin &amp; Systems<ul><li>Maintain organized digital files, templates, and SOPs.</li><li>Suggest and implement process improvements (filters, checklists, canned responses).</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>1&ndash;3 years in an administrative, customer service, or coordinator-type role.</li><li>Excellent written communication and attention to detail.</li><li>Strong organization and ability to manage multiple small tasks.</li><li>Tech-comfortable: able to learn website platforms, social tools, and backend systems quickly.</li><li>Bonus: Interest in rare plants, collectibles, or enthusiasm to learn.</li></ul>Traits That Win Here<ul><li>Responsible: You do what you say, when you say.</li><li>Proactive: You spot problems and fix them before being asked.</li><li>People-first: You genuinely enjoy helping customers.</li><li>System-thinker: You love checklists, templates, and creating order.</li></ul>About UsNext World Exotics is an international retailer and plant nursery serving collectors of rare aroids, cactus, specimen crystals, and minerals.
