Supervises employees in a manufacturing electronics environment. Plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.<br>
</div><div><b>Duties/Responsibilities</b><br>
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):</div>
<ul><li>Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees</li>
<li>Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules</li>
<li>Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance</li>
<li>Check production output according to specifications</li>
<li>Submit reports on performance and progress</li>
<li>Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements</li>
<li>Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures</li>
<li>Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards</li>
<li>Provides employee coaching and development.</li>
<li>Makes employment decisions and resolves employee issues through problem resolution.</li>
<li>Balances quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all</li>
<li>areas. Works to continuously improve in all areas.</li>
<li>Manages departmental performance measures, including visual controls, and provides</li>
<li>regular progress reports to manager.<br>
</li></ul><div><b>Skills/Experience/Education/Training Required</b></div>
<ul><li>Leadership: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others</li>
<li>Planning: an ability to think ahead and plan over a 30-day time span and prepare action</li>
<li>plans to achieve results</li>
<li>Supervision: hiring and retention, performance review, discipline, and safety</li>
<li>Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Power Point</li>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business or related field preferred</li>
<li>Previous experience in Electronics Contract Manufacturing</li>
<li>Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role</li>
<li>Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools</li>
<li>Thorough understanding of ERP/MRP (Epicor a plus)</li>
<li>Must be a U.S. Citizen</li>
