Managing the procurement of goods and services from suppliers, while simultaneously overseeing the tracking and control of inventory levels within a company, ensuring the right amount of stock is available to meet production or sales demands, all while optimizing costs and maintaining accurate records through various inventory management systems.Key responsibilities may include:Purchasing:<ul><li>Identifying and researching potential suppliers</li><li>Negotiating prices and contract terms with vendors</li><li>Placing purchase orders based on inventory needs and demand forecasts</li><li>Monitoring supplier performance and resolving delivery issues</li><li>Maintaining vendor databases and supplier relationships</li></ul>Inventory Management:<ul><li>Tracking inventory levels using computerized systems</li><li>Performing cycle counts and physical inventory checks to ensure accuracy</li><li>Setting reorder points and managing stock levels</li><li>Identifying and addressing inventory discrepancies</li><li>Implementing inventory optimization strategies to minimize carrying costs</li></ul>Reporting and Analysis:<ul><li>Generating inventory reports on stock levels, usage trends, and cost analysis</li><li>Analyzing data to identify potential cost savings and improve purchasing decisions</li><li>Forecasting future inventory needs based on sales trends and production requirements</li></ul>Skills and Qualifications:<ul><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Proficiency in inventory management systems and software</li><li>Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with vendors</li><li>Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry</li><li>Understanding of supply chain logistics and procurement processes</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From $13.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekAbility to Commute:<ul><li>San Juan, PR 00911 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>San Juan, PR 00911: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
