Job Title: Software Quality EngineerLocation: Dubai, United Arab Emirates / RemotelyJob Type: Full-Time Responsibilities:<ul><li>Plan, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases for large-scale projects, maintenance releases, and emergency deployments.</li><li>Design, implement, and maintain robust automation test scripts to ensure efficient regression and functional testing.</li><li>Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and define corrective actions in collaboration with development teams.</li><li>Manage defect life cycles &mdash; report, track, and verify defect resolution using the designated defect tracking system.</li><li>Investigate production issues, reproduce defects, and work closely with developers to isolate and resolve underlying causes.</li><li>Prepare and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test summary reports.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define effective testing strategies, ensuring product quality and timely delivery.</li><li>Contribute to performance and load testing initiatives to validate system scalability and reliability.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum 4 years of professional experience in software quality assurance and testing.</li><li>Strong proficiency in manual testing, with a solid understanding of software development and QA methodologies.</li><li>Hands-on experience writing and maintaining SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.</li><li>Proven ability to design and execute test cases based on functional and technical requirements.</li><li>Experience testing APIs and Web Services using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, and Fiddler.</li><li>Familiarity with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter.</li><li>Knowledge of financial modules or financial domain testing is a strong advantage.</li><li>Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with attention to detail.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time
