<div>Position Summary:
The Condo Analyst is responsible for evaluating condominium projects to determine eligibility for FHA, VA, and Conventional financing. This role involves reviewing submission packages, leveraging mortgage industry software, and facilitating the condo approval process to ensure compliance with investor and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Minimum two years&rsquo; experience in the mortgage industry.</li><li>
Experience with FHA, VA, and Conventional loan processes.</li><li>
Familiarity with Encompass or similar mortgage industry software.</li><li>
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.</li><li>
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.</li><li>
Good communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>
Adaptable to changing environments and regulatory requirements.</li></ul>
Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to:
<ul><li>Perform basic analysis of condo project documentation to determine project eligibility for FHA, VA, and Conventional financing.</li><li>
Manage submission packages, ensuring all necessary information is included and accurately represented.</li><li>
Utilize Encompass or similar systems to manage and track project status, submission packages, and approval processes.</li><li>
Support senior team members in training initiatives and condo approval processes.</li><li>
Assist in analyzing financial statements, legal documents, budgets, and insurance policies for adequacy.</li><li>
Serve as a resource for processors, underwriters, loan officers, borrowers, and attorneys regarding condo-related inquiries.</li><li>
Assist in reviewing insurance documentation, including Liability, Hazard, Flood, and Fidelity policies, to determine acceptability.</li><li>
Support senior team members in making recommendations for policy and process improvements.</li><li>
Maintain current awareness and understanding of all regulatory compliance responsibilities of the position, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines.</li><li>
Collaborate with homebuilders and branch requests to ensure timely and accurate condo approval.</li><li>
