Job SummaryWe&rsquo;re seeking a highly organized and personable Office Administrator / Bookkeeper to support day-to-day operations at our manufacturing and mill complex in New Bedford.This role is a blend of administrative support and bookkeeping. While basic bookkeeping experience is important, we are willing to train the right candidate. Our small, dedicated team values precision, accountability, and a positive, team-oriented workplace.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist with accounts receivable and payable</li><li>Enter invoices and payments in QuickBooks (Enterprise Desktop required)</li><li>Support payroll processing (ADP or similar systems)</li><li>Maintain organized digital and physical records</li><li>Assist with HR-related tasks such as onboarding and time-off tracking</li><li>Communicate with tenants, employees, and vendors in a professional and timely manner</li><li>Help review and track lease-related information</li><li>Track down receipts and documentation from team members</li><li>Answer phones, screen and route calls</li><li>Assist with general office coordination and occasional errands as needed</li><li>Help ensure smooth day-to-day office operations</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>3+ years of bookkeeping experience*</li><li>Experience with QuickBooks Online and Enterprise Desktop*</li><li>Experience with ADP or other payroll processing software*</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Excellent communication skills and a positive, helpful attitude</li><li>Ability to work both independently and as part of a team</li><li>Comfortable handling a variety of responsibilities in a small team environment</li><li>Reliable, trustworthy, and professional</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus</li></ul>*Bookkeeping experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with the right attitude and aptitude.Schedule<ul><li>Monday&ndash;Friday, 32&ndash;40 hours per week</li><li>On-site in New Bedford, MA</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
