National Institutional Facilitation Technologies (NIFT) is seeking a skilled Deputy Manager &ndash; Configuration Management to lead configuration and deployment governance across enterprise systems.The role ensures environment stability, configuration accuracy, and controlled software deployments across UAT, Production, and DR environments.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Implement and maintain configuration management frameworks and CMDB accuracy.</li><li>Manage version control, release processes, and rollback procedures.</li><li>Conduct configuration audits and ensure compliance with internal security and change control policies.</li><li>Optimize server performance and environment scalability through automation and proactive monitoring.</li><li>Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and Infrastructure teams for seamless deployments.</li><li>Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and performance reports.</li><li>Mentor team members and promote best practices in configuration management.</li></ul>RequirementsEducation:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (HEC recognized).</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Minimum 5 years in configuration or release management of enterprise applications.</li></ul>Technical Expertise:<ul><li>Tools: Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Git, Terraform, ARM, Azure DevOps, Jenkins</li><li>Platforms: AWS / Azure, IIS, NGINX, Tomcat</li><li>Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python</li><li>Frameworks: ITIL v4, DevOps pipelines, Change &amp; Release Governance</li></ul>Soft Skills:<ul><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities</li><li>Excellent documentation and communication skills</li><li>Ability to make sound technical decisions under pressure</li></ul>Location: Karachi Position Type: Full-timeIf you have the expertise to lead configuration management and ensure environment reliability &mdash; apply now to join NIFT.Job Type: Full-timePay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per monthEducation:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>configuration management of enterprise applications: 3 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
