JOB DESCRIPTION</b></p><p><b>
Position Title: Receiving Team Leader</b></p><p><b>
Reports To: Logistics Supervisor
</b></p><p><b>Department: SCM</b></p><p><b>
Position Status: Non- Exempt</b></p><p><b><br>
</b></p><p><b>Essential Responsibility:</b></p><ul><li>This position is responsible for understanding, practicing and training others on basic inventory control fundamentals; conducts receiving activities to ensure all items are accounted for; by assisting Supervisor or other team members with quality continuous improvement activities; by meeting or exceeding the daily targets; by properly updating the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accuracy of the inventory data. Support manufacturing by transporting raw materials, work in process and /or accessories when needed.
</li><li>Provide hands-on leadership to Receiving Material Handlers through coaching, mentoring, and training to build a high-performing team.
</li><li>Lead month-end inventory activities by setting up, preparing, and directing all tasks to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company standards.
</li><li>Perform or oversee inventory audit processes to ensure data integrity, identify discrepancies, and support corrective actions.</li></ul><p>
List of Key Tasks / Primary Responsibilities: Improves Inventory control functions by assisting the departmental supervisor in running the daily production operations; by assisting Supervisor or other team members with quality continuous improvement activities; by meeting or exceeding the daily production targets; by complying with all inventory control procedures; by creating standard operating procedures (SOP), etc.; and by being able to perform departmental tests as needed or directed by departmental supervisor and/or manager.<br>

Maintains Safety by wearing proper PPE, by identifying and reporting potential safety hazards; by maintaining the work area using the principles of 5S; by taking appropriate action when unusual occurrence happens and by taking appropriate action during a fire, power outage or severe weather condition.<br>
Supports Staff by creating production operations schedules as directed by the departmental supervisor; by supporting production assignments; and by training Staff on manufacturing techniques.<br>

Maintains Documentation by completing all necessary documentation in a clear and timely manner.<br>
<br>
Manages Time and Resources by using tools provided by the Company in order to maximize productivity and to accomplish tasks on time.<br>
<br>
Keeps Management Informed by participating in meetings; and by reporting problems to Management verbally or in writing<br>
<br>
Performs Other Duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.<br>

Upholds Standards of Quality, Cost, and Safety by following the Company's standards and guidelines for maintaining quality, cost, and safety; by taking initiative to make these points top priority at the Company; by immediately reporting any conditions that do not uphold the standards of quality, cost, and safety to the Supervisor or Management; and by making suggestions for necessary improvements to uphold these standards as necessary.<br>

Contributes to the Team Effort by consistently achieving individual goals in order to contribute to the achievement of departmental and Company goals; by being flexible in work assignments; by covering for other Staff as needed; by accomplishing related tasks when requested; by being open to feedback from peers, Supervisors, and Management; and by using the feedback to improve performance.<br>

</p><p><b>Education /Certifications &amp; Experience</b></p><div>
:&bull; High school diploma or equivalent required.<br>
<ul><li>Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or logistics warehouse environment.</li><li>An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.</li><li>Must be certified or able to be certified on Sitdown Forklift and Standup Reach Lift and be proficient in operating various types of industrial powered trucks.</li></ul></div><div><b>
Required Skills and Knowledge: Language Skills</b><br>

<ul><li>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, forms and instructions in English.</li><li>Ability to write reports and business correspondence in English.</li><li>Ability to effectively respond to questions in English.</li><li>Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.</li></ul><br>

Reasoning Skills</b><br>

<ul><li>Ability to apply knowledge and sense of understanding to carry-out detailed written or oral instructions.</li><li>Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.</li><li>Ability to analyze reports such as production and inventory data to support decision-making.<br>
</li></ul></div><p><b>Additional Required Skills and Knowledge</b>:</p><ul><li>Computer Skills</li></ul>

<ul><li>Ability to use a computer as needed. (Basic computer proficiency required, including familiarity with inventory systems and data entry.)</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>Other Skills</li></ul>
<br>
<ul><li>Must be tactful, mature, flexible and able to successfully respond to multiple work pressures.</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>Must have basic fundamental supervisory skills and management experience.</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>Ability to delegate tasks, manage time and resources effectively, solve problems, and implement practical solutions.
</li></ul><p><b>Physical Demands / Work Environment:</b></p><ul><li>Ability to stand, sit, or walk, in office or field duties;</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>A full range of motion to see, hear, touch, and to observe documents at the office or materials on the field;</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>Ordinary vision and hearing for communication and observation;</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.</li></ul><p><b>
