Position SummaryThe Machinist II CNC Machinist / Programmer is responsible for setup, machining, and programming in a job‑shop environment. This role requires the ability to create, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs, optimize machining processes, and support less‑experienced machinists.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Independently set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes</li><li>Create, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs</li><li>Perform at‑machine programming and/or CAM programming</li><li>Optimize tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining strategies</li><li>Machine precision parts from Copper, Steel, and Aluminum</li><li>Interpret complex prints and GD&amp;T</li><li>Troubleshoot machining and programming issues</li><li>Support and mentor Machinist I team members</li><li>Ensure efficiency, consistency, and part quality</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>2-4+ years of CNC machining experience</li><li>Proven CNC programming experience (at machine or CAM)</li><li>Strong understanding of G‑code fundamentals</li><li>Job shop experience with frequent changeovers</li><li>Ability to hold tight tolerances</li><li>Advanced measuring and inspection skills</li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>CAM experience (Fusion 360, Mastercam, or similar)</li><li>Fixture setup and process development experience**Position Summary**</li></ul>Pay: $26.34 - $35.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>People with a criminal record are encouraged to applyWork Location: In person
