We are seeking a <b>skilled and experienced Excavator Operator</b> to support daily operations at our landfill facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience loading and moving trash, maintaining landfill cells, and operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently in an active landfill environment.</p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Responsibilities</b></h3><ul><li>
Operate excavators to load, move, and manage waste materials</li><li>
Assist with landfill cell construction, grading, and daily cover placement</li><li>
Maintain safe working conditions around trucks, compactors, and other equipment</li><li>
Perform routine equipment inspections and report mechanical issues</li><li>
Follow all safety, environmental, and operational regulations</li><li>
Work closely with site supervisors and scale house personnel</li><li>
Keep work areas clean and organized</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Requirements</b></h3><ul><li><b>
Minimum [2&ndash;5] years of excavator experience</b>, preferably in landfill or waste management operations</li><li>
Strong knowledge of safe excavation and material handling techniques</li><li>
Ability to work in all weather conditions</li><li>
Understanding of landfill safety and environmental regulations</li><li>
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance</li><li>
Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Preferred Qualifications</b></h3><ul><li>
Experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment</li><li>
OSHA training or safety certifications</li><li>
CDL (a plus, but not required)</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
