Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Information Specialist to support the management, organization, and reporting of critical information and data. This role plays a key part in transforming raw data into structured, accurate, and actionable insights that support internal decision-making and external reporting requirements.The Information Specialist will be responsible for maintaining organized data systems, ensuring data integrity, and producing high-quality reports, including funding reports, performance summaries, and program impact documentation. This position requires someone who can not only manage information effectively but also communicate it clearly through well-structured reports and visuals.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Collect, organize, and maintain data from multiple internal and external sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency</li><li>Transform raw data into clear, structured, and actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders</li><li>Collaborate with teams across departments to gather, verify, and consolidate information</li><li>Support external reporting requirements, including grant and compliance-related deliverables</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve data workflows, reporting processes, and organizational systems</li><li>Prepare and deliver funding reports, program reports, and performance summaries for internal stakeholders and external partners</li><li>Develop and improve reporting templates, workflows, and standard operating procedures</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills Required:&middot; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in information management, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) or 1-3 years of experience in data management, reporting, or a similar role&middot; Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, data validation)&middot; Experience creating reports or presentations from raw data&middot; Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy&middot; Strong written communication skills&middot; Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyPreferred:&middot; Familiarity with database systems or CRM tools&middot; Experience with document management systems or knowledge management platforms&middot; Knowledge of funding or compliance reporting requirementsPersonal Attributes:&middot; Naturally organized and proactive - spots issues before they become problems&middot; Thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly&middot; Aligned with NOLA Education's mission to engage and inspire learnersAbout NOLA EducationNOLA Education is driven by its mission to &quot;engage and inspire learners&quot; through innovative educational solutions.
