PurposeNon-Ferrous Cast Alloys is seeking an HR Coordinator to join our HR Team. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who possesses strong administrative, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills. Day-to-day responsibilities will include recruiting, onboarding, payroll and benefit administration, safety compliance implementation and training per OSHA standards, employee safety and supporting company HR initiatives. This is a full-time salaried exempt position located at our Foundry in Norton Shores, MI.Responsibilities+ Assists in talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and new employee on-boarding+ Administers benefits, managing employee enrollments and billing reconciliation+ Manages tasks required to process payroll accurately+ Communicates and enforces employment policies+ Supports execution of training and development programs+ Handles HR related inquiries and sensitive matters, including disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, referring as needed to the Senior HR Generalist+ Administers compliance with health and safety regulations, including training and inspections, reporting, identifying and responding to hazardous conditions in the workplace+ Responding to safety incidents, including Workers&rsquo; Compensation administration+ Maintains up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements, working with the HR Team to ensure policies and practices maintain in compliance+ Assists with employee engagement initiatives+ Performs other duties as assignedElements of Success+ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills+ Resourceful team-player with proactive approach to problem-solving+ Trustworthy, adaptable, organized, detail oriented+ Previous workplace safety experienceRequirements+ Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent experience+ At least 1 year of HR related experienceJob Type: Full-timePay: From $50,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>EHS: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>Human resources: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
