Job Summary
The Lab Technician is a skilled individual contributor with an inquisitive nature, responsible for the preparation of design prototypes, conducting evaluations, data acquisition, test equipment design, selection and maintenance, report writing and participation in the troubleshooting and design review process.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
<ul><li>Skilled on testing, set-up and instrumentation of mechanical, electromechanical, pneumatic and electronic products.
</li><li>Builds and tests sub-assemblies or parts of larger projects under supervision.
</li><li>Maintains, modifies and documents changes to existing laboratory and test equipment to operate as needed as directed.
</li><li>Makes cause and effect relationships from data obtained.
</li><li>Test and troubleshoot electrical circuits for R&amp;D and New Product Development projects.
</li><li>Careful attention to written test procedures is critical to ensure testing is performed with accuracy, eliminating the need for retesting. Reliability of results obtained is critical.
</li><li>Interacts with engineers on regular basis providing information and recommendations leading to conclusions that affect product design.
</li><li>Flexibility to changing priorities due to business demand and other responsibilities as assigned.
</li></ul>Education and Experience Requirements
<ul><li>Associate degree or equivalent experience in engineering or electronics
</li><li>Two or more years in a mechanical testing lab or environment
</li><li>Must be able to read and understand Engineering Report requests and then be able to efficiently execute the testing and report back the data as required.
</li><li>Solid understanding of good laboratory safety and operations practices.
</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills. Detail oriented, dependable and willing to handle multiple priorities with a high degree of flexibility.
</li><li>Proven ability to work collaboratively as well as independently. Strong communication skills a must.
</li></ul>Desired Skills and Abilities
<ul><li>The successful candidate will possess analytical skills to review requirements, properly document test cases, follow and create effective and focused testing plans.
</li><li>Ability to understand and work with industrial quality processes and statistics experience.
</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills.
</li><li>Detail oriented, dependable and willing to handle multiple priorities with a high degree of flexibility.
</li><li>Successful communication skills, business acumen and assertive decision-making ability.
</li></ul>Working Conditions and Physical Demands
Laboratory environment. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and on occasion up to 75 pounds. Lab Technician II (Mechanical/Electrical)

Job Summary
The Material Handler records production receipts into SAP, moves materials to their proper inventory location and supports production by supplying inventory materials as requested.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
<ul><li>Retrieve and accurately confirm materials (boxes and pallets) into SAP by using handheld scanner.
</li><li>Stamp each box and place on correct pallet &ndash; for individual box confirmations.
</li><li>Verify that there are no mixed parts on the pallet prior to stretch wrapping the pallet.
</li><li>Confirm materials and move to their warehouse locations upon material confirmations &ndash; for less than pallet orders.
</li><li>Understanding of Kanban process and pull signals
</li><li>Work with production supervisors, planners, and inventory manager to ensure that the proper Kanban quantities are set
</li><li>Retrieve component parts and other materials needed in production as requested by Production Departments
</li><li>Return unused components to their warehouse locations.
</li><li>Communicate inventory discrepancies to Inventory Manager
</li><li>Retrieve materials to Quality Assurance Department for quality issues and return good materials back to stock.
</li><li>Review SAP transaction MB51 daily
</li><li>Keep inventory well organized in the designated warehouse locations areas.
</li><li>Operate forklift, other lift trucks and shrink wrapper in accordance with safety standards.
</li><li>Maintain safe, clean, and well-organized work areas.
</li><li>Comply with all relevant ISO procedures.
</li><li>Assist Distribution Center as requested by Management.
</li><li>Cycle count or recount inventory as requested by the Inventory Manager
</li><li>Practice good housekeeping and appropriate measures to prevent pollution or other negative impacts on the environment
</li><li>All other duties as assigned.
</li></ul>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
<ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent preferred
</li><li>SAP experience, preferred.
</li><li>Minimum 1 year of material handling experience in a fast-paced environment, preferred
</li><li>Forklift certification, experience with Raymond, Counter Balance and Turret Lift, preferred
</li></ul>SKILLS &amp; ABILITIES
<ul><li>Excellent communication skills
</li><li>Organizational skills
</li><li>Basic computer skills needed to accurately enter data for inventory control
</li><li>English reading skills and basic math (must be able to accurately count and multiply)
</li><li>Attention to detail, preferred.
</li><li>Flexible with work schedule, including the ability to work overtime
</li><li>Dependable; consistent and punctual attendance required. Must be available to work assigned shifts.
