Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Irrigation and Landscape Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems, as well as performing comprehensive landscape maintenance to ensure the health and beauty of outdoor spaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize a variety of tools and machinery, and contribute to the transformation of outdoor environments.Responsibilities<ul><li>Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution across landscapes</li><li>Perform routine landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and fertilizing lawns and plantings</li><li>Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators to complete landscaping projects efficiently</li><li>Conduct inspections of irrigation components and landscape features to identify issues early and implement solutions promptly</li><li>Assist with landscape construction projects, including soil preparation, planting, and installation of landscape features</li><li>Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and system adjustments for ongoing service quality</li><li>Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot irrigation systems and landscape equipment</li><li>Experience with lawn care techniques and landscape maintenance practices</li><li>Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and construction machinery such as excavators</li><li>Knowledge of horticulture principles to promote healthy plant growth and sustainable landscaping practices</li><li>Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints related to irrigation layouts and landscape design</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to system repairs and maintenance tasks</li><li>Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients</li></ul>This role is ideal for individuals passionate about outdoor work who enjoy combining technical skills with creative landscaping.
