JOB PURPOSE</b></h4><p>
The Lead Sales Associate oversees the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming shopping environment by providing great customer service. The Lead Sales Associate. helps achieve sales and merchandising goals by maintaining attractive displays, keeping merchandise well-stocked, and creating an engaging shopping experience. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, team-oriented, and committed to providing a first-class retail experience while supporting North Kent Connect's mission.</p>

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES</b></h4><ul><li>
Ensure high standards of customer service are consistently maintained.</li><li>
Maintain a clean, organized, wellstocked, and visually appealing sales floor.</li><li>
Execute merchandising standards and product displays that maximize sales and enhance the customer experience.</li><li>
Efficiently process cash, credit card, and other transactions using a POS system.</li><li>
Complete accurate opening and closing procedures, including cash drawer reconciliation.</li><li>
Supervise and support Sales Associates during daily operations.</li><li>
Foster a positive, productive, and teamoriented work environment.</li><li>
Train, coach, and develop staff through regular feedback and performance coaching.</li><li>
Delegate work effectively, provide clear direction, and follow up to ensure tasks are completed.</li><li>
Manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage.</li><li>
Communicate effectively with store leadership and other North Kent Connect departments.</li><li>
Ensure organizational policies, procedures, and safety standards are consistently followed.</li><li>
Help achieve store sales and operational goals.</li><li>
Report on sales performance, staffing needs, and operational issues.</li><li>
Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement store initiatives and organizational priorities.</li><li>
Monitor inventory and maintain appropriate stock and store supply levels.</li><li>
Lead seasonal and holiday merchandise transitions.</li></ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
REQUIREMENTS</b></h4><ul><li>
Previous retail experience required; supervisory or lead experience preferred.</li><li>
Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.</li><li>
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.</li><li>
Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable.</li><li>
Fluent in Spanish is strongly preferred.</li><li>
Comfortable working in a fastpaced retail environment while managing multiple priorities.</li><li>
Proficient with pointofsale systems and cash handling.</li><li>
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.</li><li>
