The Lead Sales Associate oversees the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming shopping environment by providing great customer service. The Lead Sales Associate. helps achieve sales and merchandising goals by maintaining attractive displays, keeping merchandise well-stocked, and creating an engaging shopping experience. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, team-oriented, and committed to providing a first-class retail experience while supporting North Kent Connect's mission.

Ensure high standards of customer service are consistently maintained.

Maintain a clean, organized, wellstocked, and visually appealing sales floor.

Execute merchandising standards and product displays that maximize sales and enhance the customer experience.

Efficiently process cash, credit card, and other transactions using a POS system.

Complete accurate opening and closing procedures, including cash drawer reconciliation.

Supervise and support Sales Associates during daily operations.

Foster a positive, productive, and teamoriented work environment.

Train, coach, and develop staff through regular feedback and performance coaching.

Delegate work effectively, provide clear direction, and follow up to ensure tasks are completed.

Manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage.

Communicate effectively with store leadership and other North Kent Connect departments.

Ensure organizational policies, procedures, and safety standards are consistently followed.

Help achieve store sales and operational goals.

Report on sales performance, staffing needs, and operational issues.

Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement store initiatives and organizational priorities.

Monitor inventory and maintain appropriate stock and store supply levels.

Lead seasonal and holiday merchandise transitions.

Previous retail experience required; supervisory or lead experience preferred.

Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable.

Fluent in Spanish is strongly preferred.

Comfortable working in a fastpaced retail environment while managing multiple priorities.

Proficient with pointofsale systems and cash handling.

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.

Available to work store hours, including Saturdays
