Job OverviewDo you love walking dogs? Are you a reliable worker? Then join our dynamic team as a Dog Walker at North Shore Dog Walk and unleash your passion for animal care! We are looking for a dedicated dog walker to who has flexible availability during the late afternoon and early evening (3pm-7pm) Wednesday -Sunday for a regular weekly walking schedule. The right candidate would have experience with dogs, transportation and good energy! North Shore Dog Walk has been a leader in the industry for over 15 years.Duties<ul><li>Lead safe, enjoyable walks for dogs across various breeds and temperaments, ensuring proper leash handling and animal restraint techniques</li><li>Monitor dogs&rsquo; behavior during walks, recognizing signs of stress or discomfort and responding appropriately</li><li>Maintain clean and organized equipment, including leashes, harnesses, and pet supplies</li><li>Provide basic pet care during walks such as hydration, cleaning up waste, and offering comfort when needed</li><li>Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets&rsquo; activities and any observations during walks</li><li>Assist with pet sitting duties when required, including feeding, administering medication, or light grooming</li><li>Uphold safety protocols by managing heavy lifting of supplies or equipment and practicing manual handling techniques to prevent injury</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Prior experience with animal handling, pet care, or kennel work is highly desirable</li><li>Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal restraint methods</li><li>Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions is preferred</li><li>Strong customer service skills to communicate clearly with pet owners and team members</li><li>RELIABLE PROFESSIONAL &amp; TIMELY</li></ul>Join us in creating joyful outdoor experiences for pets while advancing your skills in animal handling!
