RESIDENTIAL CAMP. You will be expected to work each day camp is in session. Job Overview In this energetic role, you will lead engaging activities, foster a safe and inclusive environment, and support children&rsquo;s growth through fun, educational, and recreational experiences. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create memorable moments for campers while promoting their social, emotional, and physical development. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with children, develop leadership skills, and make a meaningful impact in a dynamic setting.Responsibilities<ul><li>Supervise and engage children in camp activities such as sports, arts and crafts, theater, and outdoor games to ensure fun and safety.</li><li>Implement age-appropriate behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among campers.</li><li>Assist with daily routines including meal times, rest periods, night times and transitions to maintain a structured environment.</li><li>Provide first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any medical or behavioral incidents following safety protocols.</li><li>Support children with additional needs or those requiring additional assistance by adapting activities and providing individualized attention.</li><li>Foster a welcoming atmosphere by encouraging teamwork, respect, and inclusivity among campers.</li><li>Collaborate with fellow staff members to plan and execute camp programs that align with the camp&rsquo;s educational and recreational goals.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, tutoring, babysitting, or camp environments is highly desirable.</li><li>Knowledge of classroom management techniques and childhood development principles to support positive behavior.</li><li>Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not already certified.</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with children, parents, and team members.</li><li>Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a lively outdoor setting while maintaining professionalism.</li><li>Passion for working with kids and fostering their growth through engaging activities.
