RESIDENTIAL CAMP. You will be expected to work each day camp is in session.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in camp activities such as sports, arts and crafts, theater, and outdoor games to ensure fun and safety.
• Implement age-appropriate behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among campers.
• Assist with daily routines including meal times, rest periods, night times and transitions to maintain a structured environment.
• Provide first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any medical or behavioral incidents following safety protocols.
• Support children with additional needs or those requiring additional assistance by adapting activities and providing individualized attention.
• Foster a welcoming atmosphere by encouraging teamwork, respect, and inclusivity among campers.
• Collaborate with fellow staff members to plan and execute camp programs that align with the camp’s educational and recreational goals.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, tutoring, babysitting, or camp environments is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of classroom management techniques and childhood development principles to support positive behavior.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not already certified.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with children, parents, and team members.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a lively outdoor setting while maintaining professionalism.
• Passion for working with kids and fostering their growth through engaging activities. J

Pay: $500.00 per week
