Roofing LaborersWe are seeking motivated Apprentice Roofers (Laborers) to join our growing team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in the commercial roofing industry. You will work alongside experienced journeyman roofers to learn the trade through hands-on training while contributing to high-quality roofing installations and repairs.Key Responsibilities: &middot; Assist in the installation of roofing systems and components, including membrane roofing, asphalt shingles, slate, and metal roofing systems. &middot; Remove existing roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installations. &middot; Load, carry, and organize materials, tools, and equipment. &middot; Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites. &middot; Follow all safety protocols and consistently wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). &middot; Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision. &middot; Assist with waterproofing and insulation applications. &middot; Support journeymen in completing roofing repairs and maintenance tasks.Requirements: &middot; Ability to take verbal direction in English. &middot; Willingness to learn and develop roofing skills on the job. &middot; Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and on Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs). &middot; Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions. &middot; Ability to pass a pre-employment physical. &middot; Basic familiarity with hand and power tools preferred. &middot; OSHA 10 Hour Construction Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain).What We Offer: &middot; Hands-on training and career advancement opportunities &middot; A supportive team environment &middot; Competitive pay based on experience &middot; Opportunity to grow into a Journeyman Roofer roleJoin our team of dedicated professionals and start building a long-term career in the roofing industry.Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Compensation Package:<ul><li>Bonus opportunities</li><li>Hourly pay</li><li>Overtime pay</li><li>Safety bonus</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Shirley, MA 01464 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
