Roofing Laborers

We are seeking motivated Apprentice Roofers (Laborers) to join our growing team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in the commercial roofing industry. You will work alongside experienced journeyman roofers to learn the trade through hands-on training while contributing to high-quality roofing installations and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in the installation of roofing systems and components, including membrane roofing, asphalt shingles, slate, and metal roofing systems.
· Remove existing roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installations.
· Load, carry, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
· Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites.
· Follow all safety protocols and consistently wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
· Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
· Assist with waterproofing and insulation applications.
· Support journeymen in completing roofing repairs and maintenance tasks.

Requirements:
· Ability to take verbal direction in English.
· Willingness to learn and develop roofing skills on the job.
· Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and on Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs).
· Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
· Ability to pass a pre-employment physical.
· Basic familiarity with hand and power tools preferred.
· OSHA 10 Hour Construction Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain).

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
