As a Job Coach, you&rsquo;ll work directly with individuals at their place of employment to:</p><ul><li>Teach appropriate work behaviors and social skills for job success</li><li>Support microenterprise efforts, including marketing and bookkeeping</li><li>Participate in person-centered planning to help individuals achieve their employment dreams</li><li>Serve as a liaison between employers and NeMCMHA staff</li><li>Ensure safety and facilitate natural supports in the workplace and community</li><li>Monitor job tasks and assist with accommodations as needed</li></ul><p>
You may also support other programs to meet individual and scheduling needs.</p><p><b>
Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred</li><li>Experience or knowledge of intellectual/developmental disabilities and mental illness is valued</li><li>Lived experience with disabilities or substance use disorders is a plus</li><li>Strong organizational and communication skills</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and acceptable driving record</li></ul><p><b>
Essential Functions:</b></p><ul><li>Collaborate with individuals, families, case managers, and clinicians</li><li>Maintain accurate case records and uphold confidentiality</li><li>Support transportation needs and promote inclusive employment</li><li>Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed</li><li>Follow safety protocols and uphold recipient rights</li></ul><p><b>
Physical Requirements:</b></p><p>
Ability to walk, bend, stand, sit, lift up to 25 lbs, stretch/reach, hear, see, and drive. Reasonable accommodations available.</p><p><b>
