Job Summary Job Overview:We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lead Pre-K Teacher to join our team at Northeastern Academy &amp; Early Learning Center LLC. As a Lead Pre-K Teacher, you will be responsible for fostering the growth and development of children aged 4 to 5 years in a structured, nurturing, and engaging environment. You will implement age-appropriate activities and lessons that support the children's cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development, preparing them for kindergarten and beyond.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote the development of pre-kindergarten-aged children.</li><li>Create a safe, clean, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and explore.</li><li>Observe and document children&rsquo;s behavior, developmental milestones, and progress, providing regular feedback to parents.</li><li>Lead and supervise a team of assistant teachers, ensuring a positive and collaborative classroom environment.</li><li>Maintain communication with parents to discuss their child&rsquo;s activities, milestones, and any concerns.</li><li>Follow all licensing guidelines, safety protocols, and company policies to provide high-quality care.</li><li>Promote readiness for kindergarten, fostering a love for learning and supporting children&rsquo;s school success.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Minimum of 1 year of experience in a childcare setting, preferably working with pre-kindergarten-aged children.</li><li>Strong understanding of early childhood development and the specific needs of pre-kindergarteners.</li><li>High school diploma required; Child Development Associate (CDA) or relevant early childhood education coursework preferred.</li><li>Ability to create and maintain a positive, engaging classroom environment.</li><li>Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.</li><li>Current CPR and First Aid certifications (or ability to obtain).</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits:<ul><li>Pay range: $13 - $16 per hour, based on education and experience.</li><li>Benefits:</li><li>7 paid holidays after 90 days of employment.</li><li>5 paid sick days after 90 days of employment.</li><li>5 paid vacation days after one year of employment.</li><li>Annual Christmas party to celebrate the team!</li><li>Paid monthly staff meetings to promote team collaboration and professional development.</li><li>We are part of the WAGES and TEACH programs, providing opportunities for career growth and professional development.</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>Full-time: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.</li></ul>If you are passionate about working with pre-kindergarten-aged children and making a lasting impact on their early education in a supportive, fun, and engaging environment, we invite you to apply!Job Type: Full-timePay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Daycare: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Child Development Associate Certification (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
