<div>Position Overview
NCCH is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Rehabilitation Aide / Registration Clerk to support both clinical and front-office functions within the Rehabilitation Department. This role assists therapists with patient care activities while also handling patient registration, scheduling, and insurance verification 
Schedule Information
<ul><li> Full Time On-Site 40 Hours
</li></ul><ul><li> Monday -Friday</li></ul>
<ul><li> 8:00am-4:30pm</li></ul>
Key Responsibilities
<ul><li>Assist Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists with patient care activities
</li><li>Prepare, clean, and maintain treatment areas and equipment between patients
</li><li>Transport patients safely to and from treatment
</li><li>Schedule patient appointments and maintain therapy schedules</li>
<li>Register patients, verify insurance, and collect co-pays and required documentation
</li><li>Obtain and verify authorizations and physician orders as needed
</li><li>Enter charges, process payments, and assist with patient account
</li><li>Answer and direct phone calls professionally
</li><li>Provide clerical support to the Rehabilitation Department</li>
</ul>Qualifications &ndash; Required
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>
</ul>Preferred Qualifications
<ul><li>Bilingual in Spanish</li>
<li>Previous healthcare, clerical, or customer service experience</li>
</ul>Skills &amp; Competencies
<ul><li>Strong customer service and communication skills
</li><li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
</li><li>Basic computer and data entry skills
</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
</li><li>Ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and providers</li>
</ul>Physical Requirements
<ul><li>Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods</li>
<li>Ability to assist with patient transport and support</li>
<li>Ability to lift and move equipment as needed
