We are committed to empowering our team members with comprehensive training and ongoing development in a supportive environment.Duties<ul><li>Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and verifying insurance information</li><li>Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates accurately</li><li>Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout their visit</li><li>Support clinical procedures including medication administration, wound care, X-ray processing, and basic life support when necessary</li><li>Maintain detailed documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including ICD coding and medical terminology entries</li><li>Conduct routine clinic tasks such as rooming patients, updating charts, and managing appointment schedules</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate inpatient and outpatient care across various specialties like dermatology, internal medicine, geriatrics, emergency medicine, and hospital medicine</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven clinic experience working as a Medical Assistant in outpatient settings with familiarity in Primary Care</li><li>Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, ICD coding, and medication administration protocols</li><li>Experience with Prior Authorizations</li><li>Experience with EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient encounters and clinical data</li><li>Ability to perform intake assessments, vital sign collection, and assist with complex procedures in fast-paced setting</li><li>Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically across diverse populations</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work effectively within medical-surgical units or outpatient clinics while maintaining attention to detail and compliance standards</li></ul>Join us to make a meaningful difference in patient lives while advancing your career in a vibrant healthcare environment!Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
