Responsibilities: - Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner -Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual - Assist with check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accuracy of guest information - Handle guest inquiries and provide accurate information about the Shelter's facilities and services.- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area-Must always remain awake and alert for the safety and security of the facility and Occupants.- Laundry, Bedding and towels-Mopping and dusting lobby and business center - Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying - Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfactionSkills: - Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently - Proficient in office management software and tools - Experience as a medical receptionist is a plus - Accurate data entry skills with the ability to transcribe and type quickly - Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle calls professionally - Calendar management skills to schedule appointments and meetings - Front desk experience in a Shelter or customer service setting is preferredHours- 12am to 8am, Friday, Saturday and SundayThis position requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. The ideal candidate should be friendly, approachable, and able to provide exceptional customer service.
