Full-Time Surgical Dental AssistantLynnwood, WA (near Edmonds College) Tuesday&ndash;Friday | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM | No WeekendsCompensation: $20 per hour DOE (Compensation reflective of surgical and sedation experience)About Our PracticeWe are a growing surgical dental practice focused exclusively on advanced dental surgical procedures - primarily extractions performed under nitrous oxide (N2O), IV deep sedation, and full general anesthesia.We do not perform hygiene or restorative procedures. Our clinical days are structured, efficient, and team-driven.Our goal is to provide safe, compassionate surgical care while maintaining a positive, supportive, and low-turnover work environment for our team.Who We&rsquo;re Looking ForWe are seeking a motivated and compassionate Dental Assistant who thrives in a surgical setting. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and committed to patient safety and comfort - especially in sedation and anesthesia environments.Surgical and/or sedation experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist doctor during surgical dental procedures (extractions and related surgeries)</li><li>Support procedures involving N2O, IV sedation, and general anesthesia</li><li>Prepare and break down operatories for surgical cases</li><li>Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments and equipment</li><li>Take and process radiographs</li><li>Monitor and document patient information accurately</li><li>Maintain OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards</li><li>Assist with equipment maintenance and operatory organization</li><li>Maintain current BLS/CPR certification (office-supported as needed)</li><li>Contribute positively to team workflow and patient experience</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Active Washington State Dental Assistant registration (or ability to obtain)</li><li>BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail</li><li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical setting</li><li>Sedation experience preferred but not required</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>4-day work week (no weekends)</li><li>Consistent schedule</li><li>Supportive, low-turnover team environment</li><li>Ongoing training and professional growth</li><li>Competitive compensation based on experience</li><li>Opportunity to work in a focused surgical specialty practice</li><li>Insurance benefits after 90 days</li></ul>If you are exploring new opportunities - even if you&rsquo;re early in the process and don&rsquo;t yet have a resume prepared - we encourage you to reach out.
