Overview Pay will be based on experience. We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Head Bookkeeper to lead our bookkeeping team and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, bookkeeping process, and who will keep the clients best interest as a priority. This critical role will over see the business flow of the office and delegate tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in corporate accounting, demonstrate expertise in Quick Books and Drake software. Working in transparency, and proactive problem-solving is vital. Join us to play a role in keeping the clients needs first, maintaining the financial health of our organization while fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented workplace.Duties<ul><li>Lead the daily operations of the office, ensuring timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions using software such as QuickBooks Desktop</li><li>Oversee general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, account analysis, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure data integrity for our clients</li><li>Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections while maintaining compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)</li><li>Prepare detailed financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for our clients and to support management decision-making.</li><li>Conduct account reconciliation procedures to verify accuracy across various accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently</li><li>Perform payroll processing and ensure proper tax reporting in accordance with governmental regulations</li><li>Communicate with clients providing the highest level of customer service</li><li>Maintain comprehensive documentation of all bookkeeping procedures, journal entries, and audit trails for transparency and compliance purposes</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>5 years of experience as a bookkeeper or accountant with a focus on corporate organizations</li><li>Extensive knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks Desktop, Drake, or similar tools</li><li>Strong understanding of GAAP standards and double-entry bookkeeping principles</li><li>Experience with governmental accounting practices and tax regulations preferred</li><li>Familiarity with payroll processing systems and tax reporting requirements</li></ul>Pay: From $26.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) 3% Match</li><li>Paid sick time</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Fort Collins, CO 80525
