Job Role: Research AnalystKey Responsibilities:Research Design &amp; MethodologyLead the conceptualization and development of research proposals tailored to the social sector.<ul><li>Develop research frameworks, hypotheses, and methodologies for social impact studies, needs assessments, baseline studies, and program evaluations.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure that research questions align with project objectives and client expectations.</li><li>Ensure rigorous application of social science theories, frameworks, and ethics to all stages of research design.</li></ul>Data Collection<ul><li>Design and develop data collection tools, such as surveys, interview guides, focus group protocols, and observational checklists, ensuring alignment with research objectives.</li><li>Lead fieldwork planning, including logistics for data collection, recruitment of participants, and community engagement strategies.</li><li>Coordinate and oversee field data collection, ensuring adherence to protocols, data accuracy, and quality control standards.</li><li>Incorporate both primary and secondary data sources, integrating findings from literature reviews, previous studies, and publicly available datasets to support the research process.</li></ul>Data Analysis<ul><li>Conduct complex statistical analyses of large datasets using software such as SPSS, STATA, R, or equivalent tools.</li><li>Perform in-depth qualitative data analysis using NVivo or similar software to identify key themes, patterns, and insights.</li><li>Synthesize findings from both qualitative and quantitative analyses to generate comprehensive and actionable insights.</li><li>Develop models, visualizations, and metrics that clearly communicate findings to various audiences, including stakeholders without a research background.</li></ul>Reporting<ul><li>Prepare and present comprehensive research reports, policy briefs, and white papers, synthesizing data into clear, actionable recommendations.</li><li>Draft manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals, ensuring alignment with academic publication standards.</li><li>Present findings at conferences, workshops, and client meetings, ensuring clear and effective communication of complex research concepts.</li><li>Translate academic research into practical applications for policymakers, program managers, and other non-academic audiences.</li></ul>Key Qualifications:MSW, MBA, B.Tech, MA in Sociology, Economics, Public Policy, Development Studies, Anthropology, or related fields.&middot; Proven experience in conducting social research and program evaluations.&middot; Strong expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods, including statistical analysis, coding qualitative data, and data visualization.Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;180,000.00 - &#8377;240,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
