Job Role: Research Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
Research Design & Methodology
Lead the conceptualization and development of research proposals tailored to the social sector.
- Develop research frameworks, hypotheses, and methodologies for social impact studies, needs assessments, baseline studies, and program evaluations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure that research questions align with project objectives and client expectations.
- Ensure rigorous application of social science theories, frameworks, and ethics to all stages of research design.
Data Collection
- Design and develop data collection tools, such as surveys, interview guides, focus group protocols, and observational checklists, ensuring alignment with research objectives.
- Lead fieldwork planning, including logistics for data collection, recruitment of participants, and community engagement strategies.
- Coordinate and oversee field data collection, ensuring adherence to protocols, data accuracy, and quality control standards.
- Incorporate both primary and secondary data sources, integrating findings from literature reviews, previous studies, and publicly available datasets to support the research process.
Data Analysis
- Conduct complex statistical analyses of large datasets using software such as SPSS, STATA, R, or equivalent tools.
- Perform in-depth qualitative data analysis using NVivo or similar software to identify key themes, patterns, and insights.
- Synthesize findings from both qualitative and quantitative analyses to generate comprehensive and actionable insights.
- Develop models, visualizations, and metrics that clearly communicate findings to various audiences, including stakeholders without a research background.
Reporting
- Prepare and present comprehensive research reports, policy briefs, and white papers, synthesizing data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Draft manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals, ensuring alignment with academic publication standards.
- Present findings at conferences, workshops, and client meetings, ensuring clear and effective communication of complex research concepts.
- Translate academic research into practical applications for policymakers, program managers, and other non-academic audiences.
Key Qualifications:
MSW, MBA, B.Tech, MA in Sociology, Economics, Public Policy, Development Studies, Anthropology, or related fields.
· Proven experience in conducting social research and program evaluations.
· Strong expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods, including statistical analysis, coding qualitative data, and data visualization.

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹240,000.00 per year
