Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. As a vital member of our team, you will lead classroom activities, foster a safe and engaging environment, and support the developmental growth of toddlers. Your enthusiasm for teaching and caregiving will help create a positive foundation for each child's early learning journey. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young children's lives while collaborating with dedicated colleagues.Responsibilities<ul><li>Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to toddlers&rsquo; needs, interests, and abilities.</li><li>Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that promotes exploration, creativity, and social-emotional development.</li><li>Lead daily activities including playtime, circle time, arts and crafts, and outdoor experiences that support childhood development milestones.</li><li>Monitor and document each child's progress, behaviors, and individual needs to inform ongoing planning and communication with families.</li><li>Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including supervising children during activities and maintaining a clean, hazard-free classroom.</li><li>Provide guidance on behavior management using positive reinforcement techniques to foster cooperation and emotional regulation.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to maintain compliance with licensing regulations, health standards, and best practices in early childhood education.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience working with young children in a classroom or daycare setting, preferably with preschool or toddler care experience.</li><li>Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education strategies.</li><li>Valid certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus.</li><li>Strong classroom management skills coupled with the ability to nurture and motivate children through engaging activities.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for effectively partnering with families, colleagues, and community resources.</li><li>Ability to handle caregiving responsibilities such as diapering, feeding, and supervising active toddlers throughout the day.</li><li>Demonstrated commitment to creating an inclusive environment that respects diversity and promotes positive behavior management techniques.
