Job Title: RV Repair Technician (Part-Time)Company: NV RV Rentals Location: Reno, NVJob Description: NV RV Rentals is looking for a dependable and motivated RV Repair Technician to join our team. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule in a relaxed, hands-on work environment. The role is ideal for someone with solid handyman skills who enjoys troubleshooting, fixing things, and working with a variety of systems.RVs combine elements of automotive, electrical, plumbing, and general carpentry, so the right candidate will be comfortable working across multiple trades. RV-specific experience is a plus, but on-the-job training is available.In addition to repairs and maintenance, this role may also assist with preparing units for rental, inspections, cleaning, and occasional customer support.Responsibilities<ul><li>Diagnose and repair common RV issues and system failures</li><li>Perform routine maintenance and preventative inspections on RVs</li><li>Troubleshoot electrical systems, plumbing systems, appliances, and mechanical components</li><li>Perform minor automotive-related repairs and maintenance</li><li>Repair or replace RV components such as fixtures, seals, panels, latches, and hardware</li><li>Assist with departure and return inspections for rental units</li><li>Help prepare RVs for upcoming rentals, including cleaning and restocking</li><li>Provide occasional customer support or walk-throughs to renters as needed</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized workspace</li><li>Communicate repair needs and status updates with management</li></ul>Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Moderate handyman or mechanical experience</li><li>Basic knowledge of automotive, electrical, or plumbing systems</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve mechanical issues</li><li>Comfortable using common hand and power tools</li><li>Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic</li><li>Friendly and professional when interacting with customers</li><li>Ability to lift and move equipment as needed</li><li>Reliable and able to work independently</li><li>Prior RV, trailer, automotive, or marine repair experience is a plus but not required</li></ul>Why Work With Us<ul><li>Flexible part-time schedule</li><li>Relaxed, small-team work environment</li><li>Variety of work; no two days are the same</li><li>Hands-on learning and on-the-job training</li><li>Opportunity to gain experience working on a wide range of RV systems</li></ul>If you enjoy fixing things, working with your hands, and learning new skills in a laid-back environment, we&rsquo;d love to hear from you.Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>basic maintenance and repair: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Shift availability:<ul><li>Day Shift (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Reno, NV: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
