* NO AGENCIES PLEASE *NW Metal Sections is a leading UK manufacturer of cold-formed steel and cable-containment systems.We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias to join our expanding team, in this role you will provide preventative and reactive maintenance across all aspects of production.As a Maintenance Engineer at NW Metal Sections you will have the below duties:Duties:<ul><li>Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to company machinery and the company building.</li><li>Respond to defects, faults and company requests. Identifying the root causes of any breakdowns and faults.</li><li>Carrying out reactive and emergency breakdown tasks.</li><li>Carrying out inspections, fault finding and diagnosis.</li><li>Ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with agreed service levels.</li><li>Completing company job sheets and tasks.</li><li>Maintaining site based records and log books.</li><li>Carrying out general cleaning and housekeeping to maximise life expectancy of all equipment.</li><li>Proactively working to reduce energy consumption and recommending any improvements.</li><li>Working to all health &amp; safety compliance standards and local policies and procedures are met.</li><li>Maintaining excellent relationships with all staff.</li><li>Assist with any reasonable requests from your manager.</li></ul>The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as required and requested by management.Skills:<ul><li>Minimum NVQ Level 3 in appropriate mechanical/electrical discipline or equivalent - Essential.</li><li>Electrical Bias - Essential.</li><li>EAL Level 3 - Electrical Instillation - Essential.</li><li>18th Edition electrical - Preferred.</li><li>3 years Facilities Maintenance experience - Essential.</li><li>Strong Mechanical (Facilities) knowledge, background and experience - Essential.</li><li>Hydraulic experience - Essential.</li><li>Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>Adaptable to frequently changing circumstances.</li><li>Effective problem solving, creative thinking and analytical skills.</li><li>An effective communicator, able to adapt your communication style.</li></ul>Information:<ul><li>40 hours per week contract. Overtime available and required dependant on work load.</li><li>AM/DAYS/PM rotating shift.</li><li>AM = Monday - Friday: 6am - 3pm. DAYS = Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm.
