This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal career while contributing to impactful cases and projects.&lt;Responsibilities&gt;<ul><li>Provide comprehensive executive administrative support to attorneys, including calendar management, appointment scheduling, and correspondence handling.</li><li>Conduct thorough legal research across various practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, and tribal regulations using LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other legal research tools.</li><li>Draft, review, proofread, and edit legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and clarity.</li><li>Manage case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw; ensure all records are accurate, organized, and up-to-date.</li><li>Assist with client interviews and intake processes; gather relevant information for case preparation while maintaining confidentiality.</li><li>Support litigation activities by reviewing documents, managing case deadlines, and coordinating with external vendors or experts.</li><li>Perform data entry tasks related to case management systems; ensure all information is accurately recorded and easily retrievable.</li></ul>&lt;Qualifications&gt;<ul><li>Proven paralegal experience or equivalent legal administrative experience in a law office setting.</li><li>Strong knowledge of legal areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), workers' compensation law, personal injury law, patent law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law, tribal law &amp; regulations.</li><li>Familiarity with legal research platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw; ability to conduct detailed legal research efficiently.</li><li>Experience with legal case management software like iManage or PCLaw; adept at document review and management systems.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; keen proofreading abilities.</li><li>Strong interviewing skills to gather pertinent client information accurately.</li><li>Proficiency in transcription and document review processes; attention to detail is essential.</li><li>Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality work standards.</li><li>Professional phone etiquette combined with excellent organizational skills to support seamless office operations.
