Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>Demo and remove old windows/doors, and ensure they are safely and properly disposed.</li><li>Safety load/unload materials and tools to and from the company vehicle.</li><li>Assist Lead Installer with the installation of impact resistant products by carrying materials, accurately measuring/cutting materials (flange, trim) to ensure proper fit, holding products in place, and ensuring that products are properly secured.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by addressing homeowners&rsquo; concerns or questions.</li><li>Ensure all company equipment and tools are operational and in good working condition.</li><li>Maintain clean and safe workspace, including making sure the company vehicle is clean.</li><li>Complete mandatory safety trainings to ensure compliance of company safety policies.</li><li>Accomplish company goals by completing other related projects and duties as assigned.</li><li>Continuously improve technical knowledge and skills through training and education.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Desired Skills:<ul><li>Previous experience in construction, carpentry, or another related field preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of hand and power tools including, but not limited to, power drills, saws, hammers, caulking gun, putty knife, measuring tape, and use of safety glasses and gloves.</li><li>Basic knowledge of OSHA safety standards.</li><li>Must be reliable, dependable, and punctual.</li><li>Must be able to follow instructions, take direction, and be willing to learn new skills.</li><li>Must undergo and pass criminal background screening.</li><li>Must be eligible to drive company vehicle (valid driver&rsquo;s license &amp; clean driving history).</li><li>Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job (see below).</li></ul>Physical Demands &amp; Abilities<ul><li>Frequently lift and carry windows and doors that may weigh up to 100 lbs. or more.</li><li>Climb ladders and scaffolding (requires balance, coordination, and lack of fear of heights).</li><li>Physical strength to safely operate heavy power tools such as drills, saws, and nail guns.</li><li>Must be able to safely operate company trucks/vans/vehicles.</li><li>Other demands: standing, bending, kneeling, or crouching for extended periods of time.</li><li>Must possess the endurance and resilience to work in hot weather conditions.</li></ul>The above statements are designed to outline the functions and position requirements of this job.
