Oakdale OBGYN

Oakdale ObGyn is seeking a Triage Registered Nurse to independently manage incoming patient calls and emails and to provide medical advice using protocols and algorithms within the scope of the RN license. This individual is a liaison between providers and their patients, communicating patient concerns, test results and treatment plans.This position is remote, following an approximate 90-day on-site training period in our Blaine and Maple Grove locations. Occassional on-site work may be needed, approximately 4x per year. The hours for this postion are 8:30am-5:00pm M-F.Essential Job Functions:<ul><li>Manage incoming patient calls and emails, and walk-ins requesting heath services</li><li>Evaluate and assess patient health care needs</li><li>Obtain appropriate input and direction from provider to determine best clinical plan</li><li>Accurately document complaint/symptom(s), assessment and plan provided.</li><li>Follow policies, procedures and protocols to ensure consistency and compliance</li><li>Manage prescription refills</li></ul>Physical Demands<ul><li>Requires sitting, viewing a computer screen, talking on the phone and typing on a keyboard for extended periods of time.</li><li>If on-site, bending, stretching and ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
