Job Posting: PT Accounting/Bookkeeping PositionElder Law Firm, 20-30 hours/weekJob Description/Job OverviewWith over 35 years of combined experience, Oalican Law Group is one of Massachusetts&rsquo; leading elder law firms concentrating on asset protection, Medicaid planning and estate planning. We are currently seeking an experienced part-time Accountant, who will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and managing cash flow. Oalican Law Group offers a flexible/hybrid schedule and compensation is commensurate with experience ($35-45/hour).Duties<ul><li>Maintain accurate financial records including cash receipts, client billings, monthly closings and preparation of financial statements.</li><li>Complete daily accounting entries, classify receipts and expenditures, complete bank account and credit card reconciliations and monthly IOLTA reconciliations and reports.</li><li>Handle the monthly client billing processes using Tabs 3 legal soft software to track billable hours and expenses, generate invoices, and manage client retainer accounts.</li><li>Process biweekly payroll and 401K deferrals; administer employee benefits</li><li>Maintain and review all insurance policies</li><li>Liaison with CPA and 401K TPA for periodic review, year-end planning and annual tax preparation</li><li>Maintain organized work files and documentation</li><li>Other administrative tasks as needed.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting or a related field and minimum 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience</li><li>Knowledge of general business administration and processes, accounting principles and best practices</li><li>Microsoft Office and QuickBooks experience required experience with ADP a plus</li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to adjust communication style to the client</li><li>Experience with Tabs 3 or similar legal billing system is a plus</li><li>Organized and detail-oriented</li><li>Acts with integrity</li></ul>Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Raynham, MA 02767
